Support Malawi have built 4 schools, 2 primary and 2 secondary which we run hand in hand with the government as grant aided schools. Our schools consistently produce high pass rates and selection to national and district schools, colleges and universities.
Because our care and commitment to the children enrolled on our projects is long-term, we guarantee to support them until they graduate. We recognise that whilst some students do well academically, some are more practically skilled. Our Skills Training Centres offers these students training in various areas such as tailoring, mechanics, hairdressing, welding and fabrication which all give them a good opportunity to be able to support themselves financially once completing the course.
The photo above shows very happy students from our secondary school at Umodzi who have all passed their MSCE (Malawi School Certificate of Education) and have been selected for college and university courses. We wish them every success!
